Griffith Phoenix Editor and local Cassandra McKay.

My name is Cassandra McKay, and I’m the editor of The Griffith Phoenix. By way of introduction, here’s a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Griffith. I’ve remained here because my family is here and family is very important to me.

One thing I learned from my mum was that everybody has a story to share, sometimes we just need to dig a little to find it. I am passionate about my Christian beliefs and am very opinionated about certain things. I enjoy reading, writing, singing, listening to music and spending time with my family.

I would love to write a book. I just need to settle on my story.

I started working with The Griffith Phoenix in April of this year. A friend of mine gave me the old nudge to say that she had heard that this new community newspaper was looking for a writer. Well, I was on the phone straight away. Next thing you know, I am interviewing for the role of editor. I enjoy talking to different people about their unique experiences, dreams, groups and businesses.

One of the ways we can help your business, workplace, or organisation is to lift your profile, and here we have a special offer for you.

We will publish your story online in The Griffith Phoenix paper and have a link from your story to your business site – all for $10 per week or $120 for three months. We defy you to find a better advertising deal. So come on, pick up the phone and call now: 0448 383 881. All it takes is a conversation to connect and get your business back on track.
