Alison Daddo To Visit Griffith City Library
Model-turned-author will share her journey through menopause in a talk at Griffith City Library on Thursday, April 13 from 6 pm.
She was a household name in the 90s, now model-turned-author, Alison Brahe-Daddo will visit Griffith City Library on Thursday, April 13 to share a candid account of her experience with menopause.
The event will commence at 6 pm.
An entire generation grew up alongside her and now those same women find themselves going through menopause with her.
Through sharing her own experience in a very real way, Alison hopes that women won’t feel so alone in what can often be a very lonely time.
Queen Menopause: Finding Your Majesty in the Mayhem is the book Alison wrote so others who were approaching menopause might be more prepared for what was coming, embrace the process and feel supported.
Join Alison for an authentic discussion, complete with question and answer session and nibbles and drinks.
Following the talk, you can purchase a copy of the book through Collins Booksellers Griffith and have Alison sign it.
Griffith City Library Acting Manager, Chris Robson invited residents to attend the event.
“This book is a friendly, frank, compassionate and comprehensive companion for any woman experiencing menopause, or anyone wondering what to expect,” Mr Robson said.
“This talk is ideal for people aged 18 plus years.
“Book your place via wrl.eventbrite.com.au.” Contact the library on 6962 8300 for more information.
