ASURIA DES Hosts Free Community Barbecue

One Griffith employment agency will host a free barbecue on June 6 at the Kooyoo Cafe in Kooyoo Mall to offer its support to the community.

Community Engagement Officer for ASURIAS DES Team At Asuria Bec O’Neill said the team wanted to connect with the community, give back and help the homeless or people just doing it tough with the current price hikes across all living expenses.

“At Asuria, we are community focused and our aim is to bring people together, enjoy a meal, listen to their stories, support and connect with other organisations that assist those in need,” Ms O’Neill said.

“This could include housing, food assistance and mental health support.

“We offer individualised support to ensure our people have the best chance of reaching their goals.

“This is an opportunity barbecue to give back to the community and let them know that we are here to support everyone from every walk of life and bring the community together.”
