Australian household budgets have been pressured by rising interest and higher inflation rates, not to mention food, fuel and electricity costs. Working Aussies are looking to create extra income to cope with rising costs.

Gone are the days when one job was enough to provide a decent living - for a single person.

The situation is much harder for families, particularly larger ones.
We call them side hustles - flexible jobs that yield extra money without hindering our ability to maintain our main source of income.

Markets showcasing fresh produce from the farms - anything from fruit and vegetables to eggs and chickens.

These traditional farmers' markets have grown to include an array of products including arts and crafts, specialised lollies, plants, clothing, etc.

If you have a solid market idea, set-up costs are low and yields depend on how much effort you can put in, the market’s location and how many visitors it attracts.
