Businesses have been urged to complete the Griffith Business Survey online before December 31.
This survey collects data that will guide the Griffith Business Chamber and Griffith City Council's support of local businesses in the future and analyse the current business climate.
The last survey was conducted at the end of 2019, pre-COVID-19.
Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran said the Griffith Business Survey would be a vital tool moving forward and it was important to get a broad cross-section from the business community to complete the survey.
“The more comprehensive and diverse the information is the better,” Mayor Curran said.
“Operators from across the Griffith region are encouraged to participate, whether your business is in agriculture or manufacturing, beauty or health Council and the Chamber wan to hear from you.”
Information collected will be analysed and organised into different categories, like industry, business size and location.
The Griffith Business Survey will assist with the following initiatives:
- Inform the development of strategies and long-term plans;
- Support grant applications for our region;
- Provide valuable information for major infrastructure projects and developments; and
- Be a valuable tool for local businesses to determine opportunities within their industry and provide key information to attract investors.
Head to www.griffith.nsw.gov.au/businesssurvey before the survey closes on December 31.
Collected data will be summarised and made available to the public by the end of February 2024.
All personal or identifying information will be treated with the strictest confidence and not be released.
