Calling All Quest Applicants
There was fierce competition at The Nancy Blumer and OS Butler Quest last year, and people can’t wait to see what is on offer this year.
Time is running out for musical talent aged between 12 and 18 to compete in this year’s The Nancy Blumer and OS Butler Quest.
The Quest is quite a prestigious competition locally, with healthy competition not just between competitors but between their vocal and music teachers as well.
Two sections are contested on the night - instrumental and vocals. This memorial quest is designed to give young musicians and vocalists the opportunity to stand on a professional stage and perform before an audience.
It is an opportunity to grow their gift and talent and broaden their experience.
The outcome of The Quest is decided by an adjudicator, whose decision is final, and there are cash prizes up for grabs.
Contenders for the title have until Friday, August 11 to get their entries in.
