Coffee On Bridge Pay It Forward
Coffee on Bridge’s Jodie Turner and Maddison Hinson get behind the Pay It Forward ethos with their customers.
In a strange turn of events, the owner of Coffee On Bridge Jodie Turner said the inspiration for her Pay It Forward board actually came from one of her regular customers.
“It was actually Doug Curran who was the inspiration,” Ms Turner said.
“Every time he came in he’d say, “We should have a pay it forward board”.”
Most people pin their free coffee cards on the board for other people to enjoy, but there has also been money pinned to the board.
“A lady, Tina from Coles came and put a $20 note on the board,” Ms Turner said.
“People come in and donate their free coffee or put some money on the board.
“It’s been really good.”
The board has been a huge success for the cafe, especially after all of the closures due to COVID..
“I was worried after Christmas,” Ms Turner said.
“We’re busier than ever now, so it’s good.”
You can get a lot more than coffee at Coffee On Bridge. They serve up nice hearty meals for everyone from the dainty lady to the hard-working bloke.
The Pay It Forward board will be a permanent fixture in the cafe and customers are invited to pay it forward when they drop in for a coffee or a Friday special.
