Coles Griffith Has Revamped Shopping Experience
The Coles team officially cuts the ribbon to open their new-look supermarket.
The new revamped Coles Griffith store now offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Not only does it have a new-look open-front bakery, offering sourdough bread made fresh daily, donuts and a range of patisserie favourites, including celebration cakes, it is soon to feature a pick-anmd-mix pet treat bar for Griffith’s canine companions.
A frozen dessert bar will provide customers with a spot where they can help themselves to a range of delicious mochi treats as summer approaches.
Coles Griffith is the first supermarket in the area to have a dedicated Scoop and Weigh station, where customers can access a selection of nuts and snacks, in addition to the pick-and-mix pet treat bar for their furry friends.
Catering to the increasing demand for at-home convenience, the store also includes a large range of ready-made meals, including salads, curries and lasagnes for quick and easy dinner options or take-home snacks.
Coles Griffith Store Manager Tina D’Avanni said she was pleased the store creating more jobs for locals in the Griffith community. “We are excited to be launching our new-look store to Griffith residents and creating new local jobs in the process,” she said.
“We are also thrilled to have three long-serving team members with us for the re-opening. Kim Singh (24 years), Sue McClure (23 years) and Kylie Benton (23 years) will be very familiar faces to many of our customers and we thank them for their years of passion and dedication to serving our local community.
“We are excited to deliver a superior shopping experience for Griffith and the surrounding community in our modern and spacious store, with a new-look design we know our customers will love.”
As part of Coles’ ambition to become Australia’s most sustainable supermarket, Coles Griffith will help work Together to Zero Waste and Together to Zero Hunger, through community partnerships with soft plastics recycler REDcycle and food rescue organisation SecondBite, which collects surplus food from Coles Griffith to be distributed to local residents in need by Meals on Wheels.
Griffith customers can also do their shopping via an improved Coles Online experience, where customers can order their groceries online and save time by picking them up through a designated Click&Collect drive-through.
Coles Griffith store is located on the corner of Yambil and Crossing Streets.
