Community groups located in, or servicing, the Murrumbidgee Council area are urged to apply for a grant through the 2023 round of funding.

The grants are funded by Murrumbidgee Council, Neoen Coleambally Solar Farm and the former Darlington Point Lions Club.

Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae said the three programs provide a tremendous injection into the local community, delivery a total of $42,000 in funding.

Mayor McRae said they had funded some outstanding projects in past years and were looking forward to seeing some great ones again this year.

Organisations across the Council area who meet the funding criteria can apply for either or both of the Murrumbidgee Council and Coleambally Solar Farm grants.

The Lions Club grant is only available to Darlington Point community groups and individuals.

Applications and guidelines are available by visiting Council’s website or any of the Council offices.

Applications close on Friday, May 19 at 12 noon. For more information or for assistance with your application, telephone Manager Corporate Services, Sue Mitchell on 1300 672 243.
