Council’s Business Planning Workshop Sells Out
It was a full house at the highly successful Business Planning Workshop hosted by Council and presented by Rebecca Crombie on Thursday, June 13.
Griffith City Council held a highly successful, sold-out Business Planning and Strategic Thinking event on Thursday, June 13.
The workshop, presented by Rebecca Crombie from Crombie Accounting, provided 40 participants with valuable tools and knowledge to kick-start their own business plans.
The majority of attendees were new to business planning, with only one having prior experience.
Ms Crombie expertly guided the group through a comprehensive Business Plan template.
She used relatable examples and facilitated engaging breakout sessions to ensure a hands-on learning experience.
She highlighted the importance of business plans as vital tools for future benchmarking, focusing, objectives, and identifying areas for improvement.
Ms Crombie also emphasised that business plans should be regularly reviewed to ensure business decisions aligned with the established goals and vision.
Council’s Economic Development Coordinator, Karly Sivewright welcomed attendees and reinforced Council’s commitment to supporting local businesses.
“We were thrilled to see such a strong turnout and high level of engagement from our local business community,” Ms Sivewright said.
“Our Economic Development department is here to support businesses at every step of their journey, providing the resources and guidance needed to succeed.”
