Andrew McLean enjoys his time installing the citrus sculptures for the 2022 Real Juice Company Citrus Sculpture event.

With just over a week remaining to get applications for new and returning sculptures for the 2024 Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures, there is no time to waste.

Applications are due by Monday, July 1.

Griffith City Council Events Coordinator, Izabella Apolloni said this year’s display would feature a collection of captivating new sculptures currently in the planning stages, as well as much-loved classics making a comeback.

“We will also see some amazing new creations unveiled,” Ms Apolloni said.

“So far, we have over 40 sculptures registered.

“If you’d like further information, please get in touch with the Griffith Tourism Team by either emailing events@griffith.com.au or giving us a call on 6962 8400.”

Construction day for this year’s event will be Sunday, October 13, with dismantling taking place on Sunday, October 27.

Griffith Spring Fest is Griffith’s flagship festival, incorporating the Griffith Garden Festival, Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures, Launch Party and many other events that showcase everything our region has to offer.

Griffith Mayor Doug Curran has urged businesses to get involved.

“It’s an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure, particularly if your sculpture stands out as something unique,” Mayor Curran said.

“Thousands of visitors flock to Griffith to witnes the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures, an integral experience of Griffith Spring Fest.

“They capture photographs which are then extensively shared across social media platforms, reaching thousands of potential visitors for years to come.”

Last year’s Griffith Spring Fest injected $23.5 million into the region, with over 83,000 people enjoying the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures over the two-week period.

Of those people, 47 per cent were visitors and 53 per cent were locals.
