Dinner With Your Theatre Outing?

Griffith Regional Theatre will announce the line-up of shows for 2024 at the Season Launch on Monday, December 11, but some shows have already been announced and tickets up for sale.

Theatre Manager, Marg Andreazza said she was pleased to announce that audience members attending selected shows next year might like to add on a pre-show dinner at Limone restaurant.

“Over the past couple of years, we have partnered with Limone to offer a ticket and dinner package to a limited number of our season shows at the Theatre,” Ms Andreazza said.

“These have been well received by our patrons, who have enjoyed a delicious meal before coming to the theatre.

“This year, Limone is offering this opportunity to many more shows - in fact, most shows that occur on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night will offer this deal.

“The dinner package is just $50 per person, on top of the ticket price and will include beautiful hand-made bread, an entree and a main meal chosen from three options.

“Patrons will be invited to arrive at the restaurant early, and enjoy their meal at leisure before wandering up the theatre to enjoy their show.”

Luke Piccolo, from Limone restaurant, said many theatre-goers had been going to Limone before heading to the theatre, either as part of a ticket package or independently.

“This special pre-show offer available on many more shows will allow them to have a really great night out with family or friends with a delicious meal showcasing our region’s freshest produce and then enjoying a wonderful performance at the theatre,” Mr Piccolo said.

The Limone Dinner package can’t be purchased exclusively from the theatre when buying tickets to selected shows.

“To check out which shows have the dinner available, come and see us in the Box Office, give us a call or jump on our website,” Ms Andreazza said.

“But be quick, there are limited numbers available, and these will sell quickly.

“It’s best to get the dinner when you get your ticket as they may not be available closer to the time of the show.”

The line-up of 2024 shows will be announced from 5:30 pm on Monday, December 11 at the Theatre Season Launch.

Tickets to this event are $10, or free if you are a 2023 Member, and includes refreshments.
