Early Voting Opens Ahead Of The 2024 Local Government Elections

The NSW Local Government elections are on Saturday, September 14.

All eligible voters within the Griffith Local Government Area (LGA) are reminded that voting is compulsory and must be completed within their LGA.

Pre-polling locations:

• Griffith Aboriginal Community Centre, 5 Wiradjuri Place from Wednesday, September 11 to Friday, September 13; and

• Griffith Region Returning Officers’ Office, Griffith Regional Sports Centre, Merrowie Street from Saturday, September 7 to Friday, September 13.

Residents should check the opening times of these pre-polling places by visiting https://elections.nsw.gov.au/elections.

Those who are unable to attend a polling place are reminded that applications for postal voting close on Monday, September 9.
