Business-Awards

Griffith businesses and residents are urged to enter themselves for this year’s Griffith Business Chamber Business Awards.

Griffith Business Chamber President, John Nikolic has called on all businesses to get involved in this year’s Awards.

“We’re encouraging all types of businesses and individuals to enter,” Mr Nikolic said.

“Motiviate and encourage others to step outside their comfort zone and enter.”

There will be 13 Awards this year - 10 of which are aligned with Business NSW, enabling winners to progress through to regional and State finals.

Entry is via self-nomination and Awards Co-ordinator, Amanda Quarisa has reassured entrants that it is well worth entering.

“Entering the Awards provides an opportunity to reflect, review, evaluate ayour objectives and strategies moving forward for your career or business operations,” Ms Quarisa said.

“Many businesses and individuals often go unnoticed for their achievements, by entering the Awards will add real value to your business, gain exposure and build a reputation for excellence within your industry.”

The aim of the Griffith Business Chamber Awards is to showcase and reward the amazing talent within the business community.

It is hoped that self-nomination won’t deter people from entering the Awards, for which Griffith City Council is the official sponsor.

Judges for the Aligned Awards are independent and sourced from outside Griffith.

They are not sponsors for the event of committee members. It is free to enter and all submissions are completely confidential, with no requirement to supply financial information.

Chamber is also on the hunt to discover where the best customer service can be found in Griffith, with the return of the popular Choice Award for Local Customer Service Award.

Members of the public have the chance to nominate a local business who they believe has the best customer service and is worthy to win such a prestigious award.

It is the only award that is nominated by members of the public.
