Up for an innovation award in this year’s Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Awards is headspace Griffith CreateSpace.

Four outstanding primary healthcare achievements will be recognised at the 2022 Murrumbidgee Primary Healthcare Awards to be held on Thursday, November 3 at The Range Function Centre in Wagga.

The awards recognise excellence in Innovation, Promoting Health Living, Murrumbidgee Community Grant of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Leadership and will be presented in front of a live audience after two years of virtual presentations due to COVID-19.

Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network Chair, Dr Jodi Culbert said the awards were a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the significant work done in primary healthcare across the region.

“All of our finalists and nominees should be congratulated for their achievements over the past year, particularly in light of the ongoing challenges our communities have faced the COVID-19, and more recently the floods,” Dr Culbert said.

“These activities and individuals are making a positive and significant impact on their communities and I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all who have nominated and particularly those chosen as finalists.”
