Full Demerger For Murrumbidgee Regional High School Imminent

Independent Member for Murray, Helen Dalton passes on good news about Murrumbidgee Regional High School demerger after speaking with Minister for Education, Prue Car.

Never backwards in coming forwards, Independent Member for Murray, Helen Dalton met with Minister for Education, Prue Car on Tuesday, August 15 to once again discuss the demerger of Murrumbidgee Regional High School.

“The Minister assured me that the demerger in Griffith is going ahead,” Ms Dalton said.

“This will include two NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) numbers and a principal on Griffith and Wade sites.

“The Minister told me that the government is committed to a high standard of educational outcomes consistent with the aspirations of parents, teachers, and students of Griffith.

“Programs and initiatives provided to students across both sites will continue to be offered.

“The Minister emphasised that to do nothing is not an option.

“A detailed announcement on the demerger will be made imminently.”
