Get Festive For The Christmas Lights And Merry Mailbox Competition
Soul Property Agents’ Angelo Cirillo and Nathan Thomas join Griffith Mayor Doug Curran partner up to sponsor this year’s Christmas Light and Merry Mailbox Competition.
Deck the halls with boughs of holly - it’s time for the annual Griffith Council Christmas LIght and Merry Mailbox Competition.
Soul Property Agents have partnered with Council to sponsor the competition this year, with prizes for Mayor’s Choice, People’s Choice and Merriest Mailbox and bragging rights to the Best Street.
Griffith Mayor Doug Curran has encouraged residents to register their homes for the popular competition as part of the Glow2680 program.
“I really wantt to see our community spirit shine this year, I encourage everyone to consider decorating their homes and mailboxes for the Christmas season,” Mayor Curran said.
“No matter how big or small your Christmas display is, I would encourage you to head to the Glow2680 website and register.
“We need houses to be registered or they may be missed and if you have gone to the effort to decorate your home, we want to acknowledge your efforts.
“The Merry Mailbox category ensures everyone can get involved by adding Christmas cheer on a smaller scale.
“I’d like to thank Soul Property Agents for their interest this year.
“It’s great to have this extremely positive business on board and I want to thank Nathan and Angelo especially.”
Soul Property Agents’ Nathan Thomas said he was happy to be able to support such a wonderful Christmas event.
“We are really proud to be part of something that adds so much cheer to families in our community,” Mr Thomas said.
Register your home or mailbox online at www.glow2680.com.au.
A team of independent elves will be out and about in December to check out displays and select the best lights.
Mayor’s and People’s Choice winners will each take home $500 vouchers and the Merriest Mailbox will win a $100 voucher.
Entries close on Monday, December 11.
An online interactive map will be provided so that residents and visitors can explore the lights during the festive season at their own pace.
