Murrumbidgee Council area boasts many heritage sites, so this funding from the NSW Government could be put to good use.

Organisations within the Murrumbidgee are urged to apply for funding to conserve, restore and protect local historic buildings and places.

This is a fantastic opportunity for owners and managers of heritage items or items in a conservation area in the Murrumbidgee Council area.

The funding can be used for things like repairs, maintenance, external painting, signage, front fences or paths, landscaping and sculptures.

Recipients are required to match the funding on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

The closing date for submissions is the close of business on Monday, March 11.

This funding has been made possible with a grant from the NSW Government.
