Stoma nurses will be at the Griffith and District Ostomy morning tea at the Corro Club on Tuesday, June 18 to answer any questions local ostomates and their carers may have.

Griffith and District Ostomy Support Group will be having a morning tea for ostomates and their carers on Tuesday, June 18 at the Coro Club, Harvard Road, Griffith from 10:30 am.

A number of Stoma nurses will be at the meeting to answer any questions you may have about stomas.

There are a variety of reasons that someone might need an ostomy, or surgery to create a stoma which is an opening from the inside of the body to the outside.

Ostomates wear an ostomy bag, which captures the waste, like urine, from the body.

Please RSVP for catering purposes as soon as you can, if you are attending.

RSVP should be made to Karan Hillam on 0434 785 309 or Barry Maples on 0429 635 267.

They are also available to speak with you if you would like more information.
