Griffith Business Chamber Awards Are Back

The 2023 Griffith Business Chamber Awards return after three years.
After a three-year COVID hiatus, the Griffith Business Chamber awards are back.
There will be 13 category awards this year and guests will be treated to a spectacular Gala night at the Bagtown Exies on August 5.
Chamber president, John Nikolic said that Griffith’s business community was tremendously competitive.
“Our local entrepreneurs excel locally, nationally and internationally,” Mr Nikolic said.
“The Griffith Business Chamber Awards are a fantastic way for our business community to be recognised for its success, especially after having weathered the pandemic and now facing ongoing skill shortages - the Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the resilience of our local enterprise.”
Nominations are set to open at the end of May and the Griffith Business Chamber has called on the entire business community to get behind the awards and make it one of the most successful yet.
“This year we have 13 Awards, including ten awards aligned with Business NSW, which enables winners to progress through to regional and state finals,” Mr Nikolic said.
“This year we will also have a number of local awards including Local Customer Service Award and Business Woman of the Year.
“We are encouraging all types of businesses and individuals to enter and become ambassadors of the business community and motivate others to enter.
“It’s also the Chamber’s 65th birthday so we’re looking forward to a big celebration.”
New awards willa lso be featured this year and the Griffith Business Chamber is seeking sponsorship for each award.
The 2023 aligned awards with Business NSW include:
- Outstanding Employee;
- Outstanding Young Business Leader;
- Outstanding Business Leader;
- Employer of Choice;
- Outstanding Start-Up;
- Excellence in Micro Business;
- Excellence in Small Business;
- Excellence in Large Business;
- Outstanding Community Organisation; and
- Outstanding Visitor Experience.
Local awards include:
- Business Woman of the Year;
- Local Customer Service Award; and
- Griffith Business of the Year Award.
