Griffith Celebrates Small Business Month

Michael Campbell, Director of Lucid Economics will shed light on issues facing the Griffith business community at a Small Business Month event hosted by Griffith Business Chamber and Griffith City Council on Tuesday, November 29.

Griffith Business Chamber and Griffith City Council will hold a free business event on Tuesday, November 29 as part of NSW Small Business Month.

The focus of the event will be “What Happens Next?” - a look into Griffith’s future economy.

Starting at 6 pm at Griffith Leagues Club, the evening will include an economic update and forecasting session hosted by Michael Campbell, Director of Lucid Economics.

Mr Campbell has over 20 years experience in economic development, tourism, property and industry/economic research spanning three continents.

He works with both public and private sectors using economic and financial analysis to inform strategy development, investment decisions and government policy.

Mr Campbell was also one of the first in Australia to receive the ACEcD (Australian Certified Economic Developer) accreditation from Economic Development Australia (EDA) and is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) in Washington DC.

He will present trends at a global and national level and shed light on issues facing our Griffith business community.

Using a variety of data and research analysis, Mr Campbell will explain how we use market research to forecast and identify key areas of opportunities and trends.

Such data will enable Griffith businesses to set relevant and achievable short-term and long-term goals for a sustainable future.
