Griffith City Council Heads To The Riverina Field Days
Catch up with Griffith City Council staff and Councillors at the Riverina Field Days next weekend.
Are you heading to the Riverina Field Days next weekend? stall Make sure to stop and say hello to staff and Councillors at their pop-up stall.
You will have an opportunity to have your say and find everything from spanners and headers to giftware and trucks at Site W2 inside Woodside Hall.
Riverina Field Days will be held Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11 at Griffith Showgrounds on Murrumbidgee Avenue.
Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran said it was important to support events such as these, which attracted large numbers of visitors to town each year.
“The Riverina Field Days is an important event on the calendar with thousands flocking to the Griffith Showgrounds to take in the best of agriculture and leisure and bag a bargain,” Mayor Curran said.
“Please stop by and say hello to Council, we would love to have you provide feedback for the review of Griffith’s Community Strategic Plan (CSP).
“It’s an important document that maps out the future direction for Griffith and helps Council prioritise what our community wants us to focus on.”

Catch Council inside Woodside Hall between 9 am and 4 pm on Friday and 9 am and 3 pm on Saturday.
