Griffith City Library Launches 2023 Book Club Program

Have you ever read a book and, for whatever reason, just had to find someone to discuss it with?

Then the Griffith City Library’s Book Club Program is just what you’ve been looking for.

If you love books and are interested in meeting with others who share your love of the written word head to the library on Saturday, February 18 at 4:30 pm for the official launch.

Cassie Harmer, author of After the Party, The End of Cuthbert Close and The Truth About Faking It, will be at the launch.

Her second novel The End of Cuthbert Close will be one of the works explored by the 2023 Book Club Program.

After exploring the world of journalism and PR, Ms Harmer discovered that she preferred the realm of fiction far more.

All current book club members and anyone interested in joining or starting a book club are welcome to attend.

Griffith City Library Acting Manager, Chris Robson said the Book Clubs were very popular each year.

“Each year we see many locals sign up to our book club program and we anticipate this year will be the same,” Mr Robson said.

“It is a great way to connect with other like-minded people and a fantastic opportunity to make new friends.”

Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
