Griffith Carols by Candlelight brings the community together in celebration of Christmas.

It’s an event that brings families and friends together to celebrate the joy, wonder and meaning of Christmas.

Griffith Community Carols has become a much-loved annual event, showcasing the wealth of talent to be found locally.

This year, the spectacular lineup of talent includes the largest combined schools choir to date.

Students from seven Griffith area schools will join together in song to herald in the Christmas season.

This children’s choir is always a crowd favourite, allowing the whole community to join in the well-loved carols.

With a good mix of traditional carols, culturally diverse carols and new Christmas tunes, there is something to delight everyone.

Santa has confirmed that he will be dropping in to enjoy the carols and hand out some goody bags courtesy of the Griffith Combined Churches.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a spectacular Carols event without the stunning fireworks to end the night.

Gather the family, invite some friends and bring a picnic rug or camp chairs, settle in and enjoy the night.

You can pack a picnic dinner or purchase something to eat and drink from one of the food vans set up at Griffith City Park on Sunday, December 15.

All the fun starts at 6:30 pm, with carols commencing at 7:30 pm.
