Griffith Regional Theatre Welcomes Local Favourite “Starry” To The Stage
Glenn “Starry” Starr returns to Griffith Regional Theatre on Sunday, November 17.
After winning over Griffith theatre-goers, Glenn “Starry” Starr will return to Griffith Regional Theatre for a special afternoon performance.
The former local Triple M Breakfast announcer will return with his fan-favourite show Hit Parade: The Unforgettable Hits of the 50s & 60s on Sunday, November 17.
Theatre manager Marg Andreazza said after the overwhelming success of his Morning Melodies performance last year, there had been requests for his return.
“We’ve heard your requests and are excited to welcome Glenn back for an even bigger and better show,” Ms Andreazza said.
“This time, “Starry” will be joined by his full seven-piece band to deliver a spectacular two-hour concert celebrating the best of the 1950s and 1960s.”
Since last performing in Griffith, the show has expanded its repertoire of timeless hits, including a tribute to the iconic TV shows of the 50s and 60s, and a full multimedia presentation to enhance the experience.
This captivating show has been delighting audiences across Australia and around the world for over 10 years.

From the unforgettable voices such as Bobby Vee, Gene Pitney, Neil Sedaka and Del Shannon, to the classics of Gerry and the Pacemakers, Hit Parade reintroduces these beloved hits to a new generation of listeners.
