Griffith Show Is Done And Dusted For Another Year
This year’s Griffith Show had something for everyone to enjoy.
People flocked to Griffith Showground on Sunday, October 6 for the annual Griffith Show.
The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and the efforts of the Griffith Show committee and volunteers ensured the day was amazing.
As usual, there was something for everyone to enjoy from show rides, show bags, side alley games and activities, competitions, and plenty of show food.
The NSW SES Griffith Unit was there just in case it was needed during the ever-popular demolition smash up derby.
Fortunately, there were no mishaps and the crowds were able to enjoy the loud rumble of motors as they drove into and around each other.
Expatriates Auto Club, a lot less inclined to experience damages to their beautiful vehicles, Coffee&Cars Griffith Inc and Griffith Show Society Inc presented the inaugural Gasoline & Gears Motorfest, featuring everything from classic, custom and vintage cars to hot rods, trucks and motorcycles for the region.
Helen Dalton was also at the show discussing water issues with interested residents.
Kids of all ages were entertained at the reptile exhibition and petting zoo throughout the day.
Another year is done and dusted … wonder what next year will hold?
