Griffith Spring Fest is just around the corner, October 13 to 27.

It’s Spring in Griffith - and that can mean only one thing. It’s time to celebrate the sunshine and sea of colour that is Griffith Spring Fest.

Griffith’s annual flagship event will run from October 13 to 27, featuring the eye-catching Real Juice Company Citrus Sculpture display, eight vibrant gardens created by talented local green thumbs, the Medlog Launch Party and a whole host of other exciting experiences.

Banna Avenue will be a sea of oranges, with over 60 unique sculptures welcoming visitors over two weeks, from October 13 to 26.

Witness this remarkable display made from over 100,000 locally grown oranges and grapefruit, by wandering through the sculptures.

You might even see a talking robot, reclining chook, horse and cart or a giant giraffe.

Be sure to share your experiences by tagging @griffithspringfest and using #griffithspringfest.

You won’t want to miss the launch party on Friday, October 18 at the Tourism Hub car park where you can indulge in local food, wine, beer and cocktails and an amazing lineup of live music and entertainment, kids’ activities and more; a great night for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, the community celebrates 32 years of open gardens, for everyone to wander and enjoy.

There will be eight gardens open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, October 19 and 20, thanks to the amazing hospitality of the wonderful local garden owners.

You can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery on a garden bus tour, proudly sponsored by Roy Spagnolo & Associates.

It’s a great way to explore the exclusive open gardens while enjoying a light lunch.

Bookings are essential.

Griffith City Council Events Coordinator Izabella Apolloni said the Spring Fest events showcased all of the really great things the region has to offer.

“It’s exciting to see three new gardens and some new citrus sculptures this year so you really have to come and check it out,” Ms Apolloni said.
