Have A Cupcake For A Cause

Meals on Wheels Griffith has grown to be a driving force of care in the community over the past 50 years.

Over the last 12 months, Meals on Wheels NSW more than 14,000 volunteers delivered over 4.5 million meals to about 10,500 people throughout regional and metro areas. That type of service requires a little support from the community from time to time.

Wednesday, August 25 is National Meals on Wheels Day, and they would usually be hosting their annual Cuppa for a Cause to raise money for those in need, but due to the ongoing pandemic, they are unable to do so. They haven’t let that stop them, though. Instead, they are holding a more remote event - Cupcake for a Cause.

The team at Vacarri’s Bakery will be making some delicious cupcakes for the Meals on Wheels team to sell. Orders can be made by emailing info@mowgriffith.org.au. They will be delivered from Monday to Friday, August 23 to 27 at a time suitable to you.
