You’ve seen them in the movies, read about them in the history books, now dinosaurs will grace the stage at Griffith Regional Theatre on Saturday, July 23 at 6pm.

With the perfect combination of theatrical magic and charm, ancient creatures from land and sea come together in Erth’s Prehistoric World.

It will take the audience on an exciting journey to the bottom of the ocean to discover ancient bioluminescent creatures and incredible marine reptiles, and then back to dry land to witness some of the most amazing dinosaurs to have ever walked the Earth.

Erth, the company behind this production, is a team of creators, makers and performers pushing the limits of design, content and experience.

Director Scott Wright said Erth’s journey into prehistoric times has provided a platform for the company to engage with children on a surprising level.

“Erth is not a company that exploits dinosaurs for commercial gain, but as a way of starting long and lasting relationships with our worldwide audiences, united in our love and wonder for the natural world,” Mr Wright said.

Earth’s puppetry-based theatrical productions and innovative community projects have challenged and inspired audiences for more than 25 years, driven by a special interest in natural history, First Nations stories and urban mythology.

By connecting with audiences, Earth educates and inspires people to make an impact in the world through their own actions.

The company is recognised internationally as an innovator of physical and visual theatre, and a creator of brave, unbridled work for children.

Griffith Regional Manager, Marg Andreazza said Erth was world-renowned for their theatrical magic and for pushing the limits of design, content and experience.

“People may remember their sold-out visit in 2015 with Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo, where the theatre was packed with families and a lot of excited children,” Ms Andreazza said.

“This show will be just as fun and awe-inspiring.

“We are also putting the show on for schools on Monday 25 July, so ask your child’s school if they are coming along.”

Experience the creatures of your imagination come to life on stage.

Tickets are $20 for children and $35 for adults and can be purchased from the Box Office or by calling 6962 8444 or online at www.griffithregionaltheatre.com.au.
