Visit Hillston’s Red Dust and Paddy Melons Community Gallery on April 12 and 13 to view the entries to the River Country competition.

Just two weeks remain to get entries into the River Country competition, with the closing date of Friday, March 22.

Wiradjuri artists living in the Riverina are urged to enter the River Country competition organised by the Hillston Creative Arts Council.

Artworks can be any medium or style, but they should all address the theme of River Country.

All artworks are to be offered for sale.

The work awarded the major acquisitive prize of $2000, will be on permanent display at the Hillston Red Dust and Paddy Melons Community Gallery as part of A Welcome to Country.

Prizes of $500 will be awarded to the best artwork in each category - oil, watercolour, acrylic, mixed/any other medium.

Griffith’s In The Frame has sponsored a People’s Choice Award with a $100 voucher.

Hillston Creative Arts Council will present River Country at the Hillston Community Centre on April 12 and 13.

Find details and complete the entry form or contact Heather on 0414 561 005 or Pam on 0427 725 999 or email reddustgallery@yahoo.com.au.
