Hockey Pitch And Athletics Track Closed For Maintenance

Residents are advised that the Griffith Regional Sports Centre (GRSC) hockey pitch and athletics track will be temporarily closed from Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 18.

This maintenance will ensure the safety, performance and longevity of the synthetic multi-sport area.

The works will focus on maintaining key aspects of the synthetic turf, acrylic and rubber surfaces.

This includes addressing infill levels and surface evenness to enhance performance and preserve the quality of the facilities.

Council’s priority is user safety and ensuring that facilities meet the highest standards for the community’s ongoing use.

The maintenance is crucial for extending the life of the surfaces and providing a high-quality experience for everyone who uses the GRSC amenities.
