It Is Time For A Cuppa For A Cause

Meals on Wheels Griffith is once again hosting its Cuppa for a Cause fundraiser, with delicious cupcakes from Vaccari’s Bakery to mark National Meals on Wheels Day on Wednesday, August 28.

Meals on Wheels Griffith has grown to become a driving force of care in the community over the past 60 years.

In the course of a year in NSW, over 4.5 million meals are delivered by more than 14,000 volunteers to about 10,500 recipients in both regional and metro areas.

In order to continue doing this locally, Meals on Wheels Griffith needs your support.

Cupcake for a Cause was set up to raise funds for those in need while simultaneously bringing communities together.

Local staff and volunteers will deliver cupcakes Wednesday and Thursday, August 28 and 29 plus they will be at the Banna Avenue Kiosk next to the Commonwealth Bank on Friday, September 8 for those who would like to collect their cupcakes.
