In September 2017, Justin James decided to expand his horizons by opening JJ Farm Equipment.

Justin has grown his business and his team, now employing 11 staff. Justin and his team offer a personalised, local buying experience. They specialise in Claas equipment with both sales and service of the equipment, and a wide range of spare parts.

JJ Farm Equipment offers competitive finance options on all their equipment, go in and see the team and to discuss your needs.

Claas make a wide range of equipment including, tractors, combines, hay equipment and telehandlers. Claas was founded in 1913, continually evolving with the changing times and needs of the farming community.

Justin and his team have won a number of awards in their short time including the Griffith Business Chamber ‘Start Up Superstar’ (2018), Griffith Business Chamber ‘Outstanding Business Leader’ (2019) and Davimac Dealer Of The Year – Davimac Service (2020).

Last Friday, JJ Farm Equipment hosted a drive day where local farmers could go and trial the new range from Claas and speak with experts in the field. The drive day was attended by 46 people.

Justin said he was “Really happy with the day, sold a machine on the day and delivered Saturday morning.”

Looking forward to the future, Justin says: “With the favourable seasons we have had recently, a great water outlook going forward, the government’s instant asset write off incentive and cheap finance are driving great growth in the ag sector. In particular, in farm equipment. We feel the outlook is looking up and confidence is at a high amongst farmers and with the large amount of enquiries coming in 2021 is looking extremely positive.”
