As more and more services move to a digital space, it is important that Griffith people feel confident that their identity and private accounts are protected.

Every year millions of Australians are victims of data breaches and identity crime.

ID Support NSW will visit Griffith to demonstrate to local residents how to access the tools they need to ensure that their personal information is secure online.

The free Protect Your ID event will be held at Griffith City Library on Thursday, June 22 from 10:30 am to 12 noon.

People attending the event will learn more about using strong passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication to secure their accounts.

They will also learn what to do if their identity is compromised.

ID Support can help you protect your government-issued proof of identity credentials, including:

  • Driver’s Licence;
  • Birth, Marriage and Change of Name Certificates;
  • MyService NSW account;
  • Firearms licence;
  • Security licence;
  • Australian passport;
