LINX Launch Party Begins Griffith Spring Fest
Join the fun at the Griffith Tourism Hub Carpark tonight from 5 pm for the LINX Launch Party to kick-start Griffith Spring Fest.
It is time to shake off the gloomy tentacles of winter and propel straight into Griffith Spring Fest at tonight’s LINX Launch Party.
Tonight promises to be a spectacular kick-off to the city’s springtime festivities from start to finish; with something for the whole family to enjoy, not to mention the taste of local delights to tempt every palate.
The LIINX Launch Party is the perfect way to celebrate the incredible Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures and the beginning of the Open Gardens - and all with a street party vibe.
Griffith City Council Events Coordinator, Izabella Apolloni said she was thrilled to have LINX as a major supporter for Griffith Spring Fest again, especially the Launch Party.
“We are really excited to have LINX come on board for another year and we can’t wait to celebrate our festival and the citrus sculptures as a community with them,” Ms Apolloni said.
“There will be plenty of local food vendors, as well as drinks by De Bortoli Wines, Casella Family Brands and Yenda Beer.
“We will have the Lolohea Brothers entertaining, kids’ activities and roaming acts to keep the whole family entertained.”
Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran said the LINX Launch Party promised an evening of community celebration and was the perfect time to explore the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculpture display while the street was closed.
It’s an event you won’t want toms, it is a very family friendly evening at what is arguably the best time of the year here in Griffith,” Mayor Curran said.
The party will take place between 5 pm and 8:30 pm at the Griffith Tourism Hub Carpark tonight, Friday, October 13 - and entry is free.
