Make A Splash At Murrumbidgee’s Free Summer Break Pool Parties

Rumour is this summer is going to be a hot one, so why not take a dip and beat the heat at one or all of Murrumbidgee Council’s free pool parties with family and friends?

Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae announced a series of free events this summer in Coleambally, Darlington Point and Jerilderie.

“Last season’s free pool parties were so well received that we are continuing the free events again this year,” Mayor McRae said.

“The events are a fantastic way to get together, embrace the summer weather and have some fun.”

Jerilderie Swimming Pool will kickstart the season, with a pool party on Wednesday, December 27 from 1 pm to 4 pm.

They will have the new inflatable aqua island.

Before being allowed to run free on the new inflatable island, children must be 6 years or older and be able to pass a compulsory 25-metre swim test.

Darlington Point will follow with a New Year’s Day bash on January 1, 2024 from 12 noon to 3 pm and Coleambally will host a splash on Friday, January 5 from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Both Darlington Point and Coleambally parties will feature the giant slip-n-slide and all three events will include free entry, a complimentary sausage sizzle and giveaways.
