Mama Bear

Family is what matters, to any creature great or small, the building blocks of life are never dull with those you love above all. There was a clan, of bears far and wide, who had lots of land, and even more pride.

No fox, nor lion would be game enough to come near, the protective roars and defence of their young brought upon fear. The little ones would laugh, and play all day, while the parents watched and kept strangers away.

A particular cub felt apart from the rest, comparing his small home to his friends, who he thought were his best. His friends would always boast, about their homes or the ones they loved the most.

But what the cub did not realise, is that his house was the one with the biggest surprise. A mother who cherished him so much, no matter the darkest night she kept him warm in her clutch. A special person whose love keeps on giving, till the day she moved on from her living.

He thought his friends were life, but to his unknowing, his mother would protect him from any strife. Keep your family close, as they are always what matters most.

Every day I get to spend with you, I have come to see as a cherished memory always new. I would not be here without your care, and your love that you cannot find anywhere.

I love you mum, for you are my one and only, always in my heart because with you I will never feel lonely. Know when you are gone, I will always think about our time spent with each other, because no matter how hard life gets, I know you are and always will be, my mother.
