How long have you lived in or around the Griffith area and what do you like about living here?
I was born in Griffith, lived in Albury for five years and then came back home to Griffith. I would have to say having my family here is what I like most about Griffith, oh, and the coffee and food. LOL.
Where do you work and what do you like most about your work?
I managed the school canteen at Griffith Public School, which is the school I went to. Then I also have my little side hobby, which I do when I am not at work. I wouldn’t call it a job, but a love.
What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends?
I find doing my macrame clears my mind and helps me unwind. I love going on weekend trips to car shows with my husband, coffee catchups with friends and spending quality time with our four gorgeous daughters.
If you could have a superpower what would it be and why? To cure cancer, dementia and Alzheimers.
What advice would you give to your 13-year-old self?
Work hard at school, enjoy life, think positive and be kind. Life’s too short. Love yourself and remember family is everything.
Tell us about your best holiday ever.
Too many good holidays, as every holiday is a good holiday, haha, but must say, I love going on cruises.
What makes your day?
My morning coffee from Amanti. Can’t focus without it.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
I’m a hard worker and never give up on anything. I love to try new things and live each and every day as it comes to me. I don’t like to really plan things, but to just wing life. I love to see what’s going to happen each day. And I don’t like appointments, in case something else comes up at the same time.
