Applications are now open for the 2023 Murrumbidgee Council Foundation Scholarship at Charles Sturt University.

Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae said assisting local students to obtain a degree at Charles Sturt University was an extremely important aspect of the development and growth of the local community.

“Support, such as this scholarship, is more important than ever with the high cost of living and the strain this places on housesholes,” Mayor McRae said.

The scholarship is valued at $4000 and available to both commencing and continuing students studying full-time at a Charles Sturt University campus.

Applicants need to provide evidence of sound academic achievement, career goals and aspirations, as well as community or regional involvement.
