Murrumbidgee Launches Tourist And Business Guide
Council invests in a guide to the Murrumbidgee for tourists to the area.
Visitors to the idyllic Murrumbidgee Council area now have access to a tourist and business guide packed with spectacular imagery and useful information.
Murrumbidgee Council Mayor, Ruth McRae said the booklet captured all there was to see and do in the beautiful area.
Councillor McRae said to make sure they got as much “bang for the buck”, the booklet doubled as a business guide with information on businessees throughout Darlington Point, Coleambally and Jerilderie.
“The guide is designed to complement the Murrumbidgee Trails regional tourist campaign, in partnership with Leeton, Narrandera and Lockhart Shire Councils,” she said.
“As a small Council, we have to make sure everything we do to promote our area is cost effective and hits the right target market.
“We also make use of other established regional relationships for promotional purposes, such as Visit Riverina, Kidman Way Promotions Committee and Ned Kelly Touring Route.”
The guide is currently available online with plans afoot to print the publication at a later date.
Visit Council’s website at www.murrumbidgee.nsw.gov.au to view the guide.
