New Online Booking Platform For Council Facility Hire
Council’s new online booking platform, Bookable is now live.
Griffith City Council has launched its new online booking platform - Bookable.
Bookable allows anyone, anywhere, any time to book one of Council’s 22 available venues.
Whether it is a sports ground for a soccer match, Kooyoo Street Mall for a fundraising event, the Alpini Shelter at Lake Wyangan for a family celebration, or a court at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre for a school’s Pe class, it can all be easily booked online.
The platform can be found at griffith.bookable.net.au and features a user-friendly design with easy browsing to help the end user explore all the Council venues available for their activity.
Users can search for venues based on their specific activity, preferred venue or date.
Griffith Mayor, Doug Curran said the new system offered an improved user experience for anyone wanting to book one of the Council’s many spaces for their next event.
“The Bookable system has been specifically designed for Local Government and means users will have an identical experience booking any Council venue, whether it’s a study room in the library or the Community Gardens for a large public event,” Mayor Curran said.
“Each venue consists of images, descriptions and attributes.
“Users can easily view what features are available at each venue such as accessibility, car parking, amenities and WiFi.
“It’s like online grocery shopping, and the user just needs to pick their desired venue, date, time and purpose with the added benefit of online payment.”
To use Bookable, people first create a customer account, either as an individual or organisation, then start booking.
Once registered, customers can view and modify their bookings, make payments online and update their details.
