With just one week left to sort out how you’re going to fill your October long weekend, now is the time to see what there is to do.
Fortunately, there is something for everybody to enjoy, regardless of age.
From family and community fun, live music and wine, Griffith abounds with activities for everyone.
The Griffith Show, on Sunday, October 6 from 7 am to 8 pm, is one of those events that has something to interest every age.
From carnival rides, side alley games, show bags, demonstrations, live entertainment, animals and competitions - it would be impossible not to find something of interest.
Of course, a highlight of The Show is the spectacular fireworks.
Entry to the Show this year is $15 per person.
If you want to avoid The Show, or just spend part of the day there, you might prefer to chill out at the Murrumbidgee Jazz & Blues Collective from 12 pm to 4 pm at Piccolo Family Farm.
Entry to this event is free, with food and beverages available for purchase.
Yarran Wines is also hosting one of their Live in the Vines events from 12:30 pm to 5 pm for just $15 per person, with optional extras including a picnic box or napolitana pizza.
Just make sure you order your optional extras when you make your booking to avoid disappointment.
Take the family for a guided train tour of the Griffith Pioneer Park Museum between 11 am and 1 pm.
Don’t forget the inaugural Street Parade from 11:30 am to 4 pm, with colourful floats, marching bands and local performers showcasing the vibrant spirit of Griffith.
