Pathfinders National Aboriginal Birth Certificate Program will visit Griffith on Thursday, May 4 at Griffith AMS.

Pathfinders National Aboriginal Birth Certificate Program (PNABC) will hold ten free Aboriginal Birth Certificate sign-up events across the Central West, including Griffith.

PNABC is a not-for-profit organisation that provides advocacy, support and services for disadvantaged communities.

The organisation has operated in the North-West and Northern Tablelands regions of NSW for over 30 years and has recently expanded its reach to the Mid-North Coast.

It focuses on addressing the complex challenges and issues within the social care landscape, facilitating foster care, out-of-home care, homelessness services, family referral services and supported independent living for young people.

The organisation also delivers tailored services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, providing support services for people with disability and offering early education programs and training programs for young people.

PNABC will visit:

  • Narrandera on Tuesday, May 2 from 9:30 am to 3 pm at the Narrandera Public School Community Hall entry via Bolton Street;
  • Griffith on Thursday, May 4 from 9:30 am to 3 pm at Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service on Jondaryan Avenue; and
  • Hay on Monday, May 8 from 9:30 am to 3 pm at Hay Aboriginal Medical Services, 78 Lachlan Street.

PNABC sign-up events are held in conjunction with UNICEF Australia and supported by NSW Government Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages.
