The Murrumbidgee Irrigator, Tuesday 13th January 1920

The Whitton Cheerios, consisting of fourteen artists, gave a concert at the Hanwood Hall on Wednesday night, in aid of the Griffith Hospital. The large audience greatly appreciated their efforts. Mr Duhigg, the hon. secty. of the hospital committee, in thanking the performers in an exceedingly neat little speech, expressed the hope that they would return. He appreciated their efforts because it showed that they were in sympathy with the Griffith hospital proposals. He felt confident that soon Darlington Point also would come to their assistance.”
