Riverina Field Days Another Huge Success

With our strong and vibrant rural community of businesses, the Riverina Field Days are always a huge success and this year was no exception.
Everything the man on the land might need was right there in the one location, a massive one-stop shopping experience.
The kids were kept entertained by the snake pit and the farm petting enclosure, as well as the delicious lolly vendors.
Men's health was a bit of a highlight this year, with free health checks conducted on-site, Rural Aid on hand to let people know what types of assistance they can offer and the Griffith Prostate Cancer Support Group, urging men of all ages to ask their GPs for a PSA check. Gary Bentley from Rural Aid said that along with their large group of volunteers who went on to properties to help mend fences, etc, where needed, the organisation also offered counselling for farmers and their families who were under stress for whatever reason.
Of course, there was the usual farm machinery, vehicles, innovative farm solutions for water, sheds, fences and composting.
The popular classic cars were on display and helicopter rides were constant.
Whip cracking, dancing and singing, what more could you ask for?
