Riverina Field Days For The People On The Land
The Riverina Field Days showcase the region’s agricultural industry.
Today (Friday) is the first of the Riverina Field Days for 2021 and you can expect all the action that you’ve come to know and love from the annual event.
Attractions include a farmers’ health hub, cooking demonstrations, dog yard trials and a snake pit.
Enjoy a pint at Yenda Brewing Co’s beer tent, take a joy flight with Riverina Helicopters and try your hand at rock climbing before strolling along the bike and classic car display along the canal.
A diverse range of exhibitors will be on display in the main arena, with everything from cars, motorbikes, trucks and trailers, equipment hire and everything else automotive.
Expect to see millions of dollars worth of machinery, yard dog trials and cooking demonstrations. Take a helicopter joy flight, visit the Farmers Health Hub, watch the debut lawn mower race!
Financial services will be represented to chat with farmers.
Builders, hardware, home improvement ideas and pools, spas and outdoor leisure will be out in full force.
Of course, what would the Field Days look like without arts and crafts, photography, giftware, confectionery, clothing and flowers?
Even the kids will have a ball with jumping castles, an animal nursery, bungee jumping, show rides and show bags.
From the main stage you’ll be entertained by songbirds from LIllie Duxbury Singing Studio and dancers from MDS.
The two-day event is expected to inject thousands into our economy via accomodation, food and beverage as well as general shopping spend by visitors.
There’ll even be some thrilling whip cracking displays at 11am, 1pm and 3pm tomorrow.
Griffith Showground gates open at 9am, closing at 5pm today and 4pm tomorrow.
