ANZAC-Day-27

ANZAC Day services will commence in Griffith with a Dawn Service at the Cenotaph at Memorial Park.

Griffith residents are invited to come together and honour our Servicemen and Women, past, present and future, who put their lives on the line for us every time they head out to fight for us.

ANZAC Day will commence with a Cataflaque Party Mounts at 5:30 am followed by the Dawn Service at the cenotaph at 5:35 am.

Breakfast will follow the Dawn Service at Griffith Exies Club, but it is a ticket only affair.

Tickets will be on sale for $5 per head immediately after the Dawn Service - and how to enter the club on the day will be explained at the service.

Those participating in the ANZAC Day March, are urged to line up in front of the Museum and Regional Art Gallery at 10:15 am, with school students marching to be at the front of Griffith City Library at 10:10 am.

The Main Service will take place at the Cenotaph, with the Catafalque Party Mounts taking place at 10:45 am, followed by the Service at 11 am.

Lunch will be served at the Griffith Exies Club and while the club is limited to how many they can serve at one time, they have agreed to cater for all those who wish to be served.

There are a limited number of vouchers available for Veterans and ex-service members.
