Social Sailing

What: The sailing club caters mainly for off the beach dinghies and catamarans; however, Lake Wyangan is deep enough for trailer sailors up to 6m in lengths, which can be launched at the club’s ramp or the neighbouring public area.
The club sails every Sunday afternoon from 1 September through to 30 April. All boats compete on Yardstick handicap to level out the performance of all boats. We also run a winter sailing series for the hardier sailors. Often, it is some of the best sailing of the year!
If you are not into competing, but just want to come along any enjoy a leisurely cruise around the lake, and develop your sailing skills, you can do that too. There is always someone who can offer tips on how to sail better and have a chat with afterwards.
