The Griffith Genealogical and Historical Society aims to promote family history research. They have records and historic photos of the area available to members, who help to trace family history by providing alternative sources.

They also transcribe and record burials of the regional pioneers. The society presented Christina Morris with life membership last Saturday, after a wonderful 30 years of service to the community.

She is also the editor of our magazine Ibis Links, which is free for members. Christina has been the editor for about 10 years now and thoroughly enjoys doing it.

They welcome new members, its rooms in Trantor Place open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1pm until 5pm.
