Star Shopper Winners Announced

Shoppers were out in force during the Star Shopper Campaign, supporting participating local businesses.

The major prize of a $500 gift voucher was awarded to Natasha Pittari, who shopped at Buzzi’n’Moo.

The following five lucky shoppers each received a $100 gift voucher at specific participating businesses.

• Robyn Hawkins, Eyecare Plus;

• Denice Robinson, Kendells;

• Maria Garbin, Best and Less;

• B Cunial, Morgan and Clay; and

• Janelle Lucchese, Speirs Jewellers.

Griffith Mayor Doug Curran congratulated the winners and thanked both local businesses and the community.

“The Star Shopper Campaign has been a fantastic success, and I want to thank all of the local businesses who participated in this initiative,” Mayor Curran said.

“I was blown away by the entries in the box; there were quite literally thousands.

“It is wonderful to see our community supporting our local businesses in such a big way.

“The ongoing support of Griffith’s shops and services is vital to the strength of our local economy, and I encourage everyone to continue shopping locally throughout next year.”
